Closing Prayer Guide
“…First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all people."
1 Timothy 2:1 ESV
FROM THE PASTOR
“Thank you so much for stepping up to lead the closing prayer during our Sunday service. It’s a meaningful way to serve, and we are truly grateful to have you involved. Your role helps set the tone as we send our church family out for the week.” - Pastor Justus
PREPARING BEFORE SERVICE
Arrive Early: This gives you an opportunity to meet the media team, do a quick run-through, and get comfortable with the set-up.
Dress modestly: Aim for neat and respectful. Here are a few tips:
No shorts
No excessively torn jeans
No graphic tees
Prepare Spiritually: Spend some time in prayer beforehand, reflecting on how you would like to bless the congregation through your closing prayer.

5. Dismiss the Congregation
After the prayer, warmly dismiss everyone with a simple closing like: “Thank you for joining us today. Have a blessed week!”
6. Wrap it Up
Turn off the mic and place it back in the stand. That’s it - you did it!
